Well, contrary to the other post I'd like to say I love the NHS. Physio is now self-referring here, after a repeated sports injury I simply phoned up, explained my symptoms and was told to come in to see them. All on the NHS. Better than spending £35 an hour and just as available.
Self-referral is great.
It is a great service gets let down by a few things and gets way overloaded by those that abuse it but it does a great job. Nice some really ace people who work in the NHS too, not me though.
yaaaaayyyy!

I got a phone call at 3.30 this morning from Care Line telling me that an ambulance had been called for my mother as she was in bed unable to move due to excruciating pain, I shot round there straight away, and I was indeed impressed (as I always am) with the paramedics - they were friendly, helpful, and generously pumped my mother with morphine - which made her very happy 8) ......... but what a pair of fat gits ! 😯
And btw Drac, I have no doubt that when you are working, your patients never see a miserable stroppy git ....... you save that for us, doncha ? 😉
yeah i'm a fan as well. they saved my life once, and have generally been very helpful at sewing parts of me back together on numerous other occasions.
i am shortly to visit them again for an MRI scan on a troublesome knee, with some physio to follow. 🙂

Damn rumbled, although would depend on how I was greeted at the scene.
Good to hear you were pleased with the service our colleagues provided, I'm hugely proud of the NHS especailly the Ambulance side of it, that in it self well worth a few pounds from our wages. Those that do the job well are and they're a majority provide something way beyond carting them off in a converted van.
You'd certainly would say I was a fat git or at least fat.
