Which type, there are over 1000 species. As for the cat killing it, that is what they do!

Your next doors have rubbish cats, ours will always carry out the torturing and dispatch of small animals on our property before leaving the remains for our dog to find and devour.

Thus the path of natural usage is complete.

A very good reason for us not to keep cats.

Why? Given the horrendous effect domestic cats have on the wildlife within the vicinity of 'their' patch, it seems remarkably sensible behaviour from a cat owner...

Prey/predator behaviour in nature shocker...

I hate cats!

SuBo, cat owner, nuf sed!

I used to live somewhere where the owner had about 5 cats, 3 stuck down the cellar permanently!!

Had to pretend to look after them when she went away!

Then where I worked had 3 wondering about as well!!

There's not much natural about a modern domestic cat's interaction with its environs. We bred them to look cute and fluffy, surely we can breed them into a species slightly less damaging to the local wildlife?
