I'm off to New York for a few days this weekend. Everyone says NY is good for shopping, so can anyone point me in the direction of some good outdoors/bike shops?!

Can't remember if I went in whilst in NYC though.
We did go in Tents & Trails:
Small place but crammed with stock. Leatherman tools worked out crazy cheap but it was two $ to the £ back then.
Paragon is good - especially if you're after US brands, although like cxi, it was $2=£1 when I went. They stock lots of Timbuk2 so good if you're after something other than the plain courier bags you get here (I got one of the Hacker backpacks which is my regular work bag now).
