Hi,
I'm off the NYC in June on a weeks holiday with the missus.
Can anyone recommend a central(ish) hotel or airbnb that isn't silly expensive?

I've stayed here many times and think it's great value for money. The location is ace. The cheapest rooms are small though. I like that the clientele is very mixed (there is a Yotel near Times Sq which does nicer 'pod' rooms but the communal areas look/feel like a sixthform common room).

We hired an apartment in Jersey for a week via AirBnB very reasonably and it was a 15min metro ride into WTC of a morning. only paid around £600 for 10 days.

Americana Inn, The Central Park. Park Savoy Hotel- all these are near to the Times Square and cost is reasonable
