So today after many months of rebuilding a brick arch (twice), lots of pointing, casting a concrete slab and cutting reclaimed slate tiles, we finally have the first of two new wood burners installed.

Its nearlly as exciting as getting a new bike ๐Ÿ˜†

Now all i need to do is fix the oak beam for the mantelpiece and plaster then we're set for winter. Lets hope we don't have an indian summer or i won't be able to light it ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

After the initial burn to get it up to temperature I now have to wait till it's cooled down enough to touch by hand then re-light it. The suspense is killing me. It's like Christmas Eve for a 5yesr old ๐Ÿ˜†
