We've brought 3 diesel ladies bracelet watches for bridesmaides gifts.

From Amazon - they don't have plastic stops around the dial, to save the batteries, so I'm assuming the batteries are gone! The watch backs still have the plastic protection on, and we've tried everything baring taking it to a shop and getting the batteries checked! Don't want to do this, as surely they should work!

Grrrr, am I missing something obvious! The instruction booklet is the size of the Argos catalogue and doesn't even mention the battery!!!

Double grrrrr!

Presume you've tried pulling the winder out and pushing it back in?

Google would indicate that it is a battery rather than anything clever, at any rate.

Radical idea I know, but have you asked Amazon?

The daughter bought a watch last week, when she opened it, it said battery not included.

I work in the watch industry, and alot of the 'bargains' sold on Amazon are old stock. So my guess would be the batteries are dead. Send them back...
