me tackling the more exposed lines of the crib goch:
Thought it was going to be boring when I realised there wasn't any bikes involved, but that was pretty cool.
Quite an impressive film angle - telescopic pole strapped to your back?
cheers guys! got some brillaint footage from the black run at laggan wolftrax, working on it now. The gopro was on a telescopic clip stick used for climbing, gives a brilliant perspective on the bike.
Lovely little bimble matey
Wrs the bikes ? LOL
Fantastic footage, very well put together.
I can't believe I did Crib Goch when I was 17, it looks mental now! I do remember it being a bit hairy though.
That is excellent!
One question though. Why did you park at the bottom of Tryfan to climb Crib Goch? ๐
I remember doing that about 20 years ago. Nice perspective.
The unusual camera angles certainly appear to make it more airy than it actually is. Interesting vid though.
looks cool - did nearly vom tho
Well, I know you didn't fall off and die, because you're posting it on the internet, however I still winced about once every 5 seconds watching that. Nice video, but not recommended for those scared of heights!
What car was it?
Nearly peed myself ๐ณ got a thing for heights...
Cool angle though!
Crib Goch is an excellent day out scrambling, nice vid Sir.
Cheers for all yr comments guys! we drove round to tryfan in the afternoon to climb on the milestone buttress, random i know! footage just looked good so i included it. Car was a nissan navara pickup.
last time I was on Milestone Buttress someone was having a bbQ halfway up on one of the ledges, honestly I kid you not. ๐
looks cool - did nearly vom tho
+1.. bit like a dodgy fairground ride up a mountain
Fantastic footage did make my head spin a bit
Great film. Crib Goch is such a great scamble, you did well to have no cloud! I want to go back now after seeing that.
Love the camera angle for giving a sense of exposure!
Did you go a bit off piste on the ascent as there seemed to be too much vegetation for a well worn route.

Yeah didnt want to follow the usual approach, the intention was to tackle some of the more technical steeper lines, made things abit more interesting lol
nice, not been there for years now - it was very foggy and icy when my mate and i did it and remember a couple getting stuck on the top (the guy's nerves went, lass leading him was fine) and wanted to go back the way he had climbed - took us 20 minutes to convince him it wasn't the best of ideas!
