I feel like I've regressed to being 7 years old waiting for Father Christmas to arrive.

Last week I put a deposit on a nearly new Suzuki GSX-S1000 GT.  Having the Suzuki panniers put on it so it's taking a little longer.

Traded in my V-STROM 650 which has given me 5 years of fun.

I think I may have to take a day off work on collection day.

Not sure why I'm posting.  Just very excited (and I've run out of people to tell) 🙂

Yeah I took their test bike out for a ride.  It's quite a step up.  It took most of the day to get the smile of my face.

... Suzuki GSX-S1000 GT ....

Nice! I like!

Saw a guy riding a Yamaha Frazer few days ago, wish I learned to ride a bike properly in my younger days.

Very nice bit of kit- the Suzuki looks to be one of the better modern offerings out there. As mentioned before a big difference between that and the vstrom.

Let us know your impressions of it once you've had a chance to use it a bit.... 🙂

Nice one.

It certainly will feel like a handful after the V strom, take your time getting the hang of it.

Enjoy and drive safe

That’s a very very nice bike. Esp in the blue.

just googled the bike and it has the gixxer thou k5 engine, that’s a bloody nice motor. I had a k3 gixxer thou for a very long time, they go like the clappers. Even in sport tourer guise that will be sweet.

Enjoy the day off and the new toy.

Nice!

I have the previous model, the GSX-S 1000F amongst my selection of toys... EPIC motor, great chassis, you'll enjoy it, especially with the added practicality that the GT brings along with the extra toys too... You'll enjoy that!
