Old laptop died so new one ordered.is it possible to transfer all my music/apps to the new laptop from my iPhone? It doesn't appear possible without using something like idump.as soon as my iPhone is connected it wants to wipe it does it not?

You set it to manually manage music and video. That way it should sync and any purchased music will transfer. You have already got iTunes set up with your old library, haven't you?

My old library is gone.I've had to format the old laptop and evertyhings been wiped.ive got everything saved on disc of course but they can be temperamental .I just want to be able to plug my iPhone into the new pc with newly loaded iTunes.it's never that easy though!
