Is there a foolproof way to add a reply ?

I have tried replying on the "The New Forum" thread, but only my first post ever made it - all the others have vanished.

Probably it's just that I'm a bit computer illiterate.

Thanks.

Also - how does the "like" button work? I must be doing it wrong, because no matter how many times I "like" someone's post, the like count stays the same. I'm probably doing it wrong - I do find computers quite confusing these days.

No to both.

1 - You are not computer illiterate - or rather that's not th ereason you are experiencing issues.

2 - it's not supposed to be this slow and it won;t be for long. The reason is the migration o fthe old forum (10 million posts) is still happening behin dthe scenes and this is slowing things down.

I've posted an update at the top of the bike forum which gives some more insight into the current state of this job. But in short, it's not you, it's us.

10 million! You can not bother with 8 million of them because it'll be the same 5 people saying the same thing over and over again.

Submit a reply, then change to another browser tab and do something else for ~5mins.

Closer to a couple of hours, then your post appears.

Yeah, it’s just not working. I’ve posted twice on the new forum thread, neither are showing, tapping on the time and date at the top of my screen should automatically scroll to the bottom of the page, and doesn’t, I can’t see any other pages than the first one, and I can’t see any way of seeing if there are more than one page in any given thread, or accessing them even if there are any. I think ‘work in progress’ is a polite somethingion.

I’ve had enough, I’m signing off for now. G’night.
