Given the new forum styling, with white text on off white background, I'm finding it tricky reading every alternate post. Obviously I can highlight the text and then read it, but that's kinda laborious when the ads pop up.
Kudos to STW for making positive changes to reduce people's screen time, but summer is approaching and I'm hoping to be asking for route info so need some rudimentary access set up

I usually see how many duplicates there are and go to the one with the most replies.

Disable dark mode on STW website, in your accountÂ
Disable dark mode / enable light mode on browser.
Enable light mode on underlying Android / Apple / Windows.
You need to do all three for it to work.

Without changing anything, my view is white text on alternate bands of black and dark grey, with mid-blue text for titles. Absolutely perfect for me, I can read everything easily under any lighting conditions.

FWIW, My (Android) phone is set to Dark Mode. My Chrome browser is set to "whatever my phone is set at " and I've Unticked the Dark Mode box on STW Account.Â

9n my android phone, I've just accepted that the consistency of dark mode is preferable to the zebra crossing of light mode.
Now, can someone tell me how to go directly to the last page of a thread without having to go to page one, then select page 79 from the drop down?

Fwiw, this is how the forum looks on my iPad - I’ve no idea what it’s set to, ie dark mode or whatever, because I’ve no recollection of having changed anything on it. When I open the forum, it looks like this, regardless of whether I’m using it in daylight or at night with very little ambient light.

This is getting annoying - I’ve just posted up a screenshot of how the forum looks on my iPad, and it sez the last post was mine, but there’s no sign of it, and I haven’t a clue how to even start looking for it.Â
I like the design, but the usability sucks, quite frankly!

There are lots of things troubling about the new forum but I am having no difficulty reading the text , in fact on my pixel the colours look the same as before.Â
