I know there's a few glassy eyed old school dance music heads lurking around Singletrack so this could be of interest. I'm going in now and will report back later.

Saw this mention the weekend EDL thread and ended up buying it. Loved it.

On the first listen I really liked it. Repeat listens give some grating moments eg,the self love at the start of Synthesiser and the effin and jeffin in the background of another track.

But all things considered I'm well happy with it.

Had a listen on Spotify. It was a nice listen but nothing grabbed my by the whatsits to listen again. I will give it another go.

Is it really a Faithless album without Maxi? Or just a Sister Bliss project? It certainly isn't a Faithless gig without Maxi if they ever get to tour...

Listened to about half of it so far, and it's alright... decent background music for while I'm working, but that's about it. Meh.

Nothing of Insomnia Monster Mix standards then?

Managed about three tracks before giving up. Doesn't offend in the background, wouldn't put it on again through choice.

It’s Ok I never expected it to be up with there with Insomnia though, I like Synthesiser that’ll be played loud a fair bit.

Yeah agreed Drac - Synthesiser is great. Rest of the album is a bit meh - I guess no Maxi Jazz has left an unfilled space in their sound?

I can't get enough of it at the moment. First and second listen I thought it was OK background music, but it has really grown on me.

Nathan Ball's voice on the second track is beautiful.
