Netflix on my kindle is terrible.
Works fine on every single other device in the house. Main computer, my macbook, my iphone, my son's windows phone. All brilliant.
The kindle has no problems downloading stuff normally but Netflix, stuttery beyond belief. I reckon Amazon knobble the app.

House of cards is awesome, my OH started watching it on sunday and I was drawn in while trying to work from home. Up to chapter 5 so far! Best thing on Netflix since Breaking bad.
