No, to be fair the video I posted is very much like that, the derby scene in UK is still in it's infancy and only a handful of teams are in existence but very much a strategic game these days as opposed to staged WWE drama. It's still a very physical game and whilst there are rules it's often the case a well timed deliberate foul can progress play so the odd elbow to the face etc isn't unheard of.
It's being dominated by women, gothic, lesbian-esque types but the new breed of derby players are more toned gym types who are much easier on the eye.
