Hi guys,
Bought a new SIM card for my girlfriend yesterday with a new number, however when you put the SIM card in, it asks for a security number (when it doesn't ask anything with the old SIM).
What could be the problem? Its a pay as you go Orange SIM. The phone is not on contract and shouldn't be locked.
We tried: 0000, 00000, 1234, 12345, and anything I found on internet but no luck (as well as her own codes). The mobile is a Nokia 5310.
Any suggestions?

sounds locked to a different provider to orange to me.
you can try online codes (ive tried them and had no joy) or take it to a market stall.
Shouldn't be, as she has an orange pay as you go card right now!
according to interweb then for orange its 1111 for SIM security and 1234 for unlock as default codes.
