Right so we need a week away and because Magnetodog is very very old now we need to find a campsite in the UK that we can go as a family. (Kids are 7 & 11)

Ideally looking for something a bit like a French site where it has most things on site (pool / playground / stuff to do / beach maybe)

Any recommendations?

For a tent or want to rent somewhere to stay?

I took my kids and dog to Carmarthen bay recently had a park swimming pool etc, nothing fancy but decent enough. Cost £40 extra for the dog mind!

Ideally we'll be taking the C>A>T (Concept Activity Trailer or as some mistakenly call it Caravan)

Just got back from a week here

Wonderful site, very friendly, right next to the beach, swimming pool that can be booked in advance (to stop overcrowding mainly) Playground, pub with something on most nights (Disco, circus nights, childrens entertainer etc.) Loads to do in the area as well.

Right on the edge of the quantocks for some great riding too!

8)

He's doing okay, he is very old now, so pretty slow but seeing as we took him to the vets in Jan to be whacked 8 months extra is not a bad thing.

He's just come back from a week in France 😀 At the age of 14 we had to get him a passport as leaving him anywhere or with anyone just isn't an option anymore.

Chillin' by the pool - with stuff on him (self inflicted though)

Then we had a week in Wales but I didn't take any photos apart from this one at Telford services of all places.
