The HTC sense standard issue browser keeps crashing and is slow to respond to the fixed soft keys. However, I like the layout and the tab button in the corner of the screen. What's good, and free?

I downloaded Chrome to try it but I get on so well with the standard HTC browser that I can't really be arsed.

I use Dolphin. Seems to work OK, clean layout.

Been using Skyfire since I got my Desire. Seems to work pretty well & plays video with no problems

opera mini, is ace. I've used 3, the standard, chrome and now opera, find it the best.

Chrome, Firefox and Opera Mobile are good. On jellybean though, the standard browser is so good I can't be bothered with third party ones.

Specifically the 'Labs' QuickControl is great:

Cheers all. I'll try some of those out. This one is getting silly. For example, to type this response, I tapped in the reply box, the keyboard pops up but when I start typing, the predictive options bar is through the middle of the keyboard rather than on top of it.

to type this response
Swype. That's what you need, rather than a new browser (though I like opera mini next FWIW)
