Dear hivemind

Am struggling to buy a portable loo in time for camping trip on 8th August. Loo and ideally toilet tent both needed.

Has anyone seen any availability anywhere please? Thanks in advance...

I've been looking into this - proper portabog to put in our awning to remove as much need as possible of using shared facilities whilst c19 is still around. Been recommended by multiple people to look at the Thetford range.

Thanks all for your help.

Seems like second hand chemical toilets have gone up in value more than bit coin.

Have settled on a flimsy looking bucket affair from eBay. I'll let you know once the kids have knocked it over

We ordered a Thetford 345 from Leisure Outlet about 3 weeks ago for COVID van camping and it turned up yesterday, suggesting they finally had got some stock in.

In terms of toilet tent, have a look at the pop up shower tent offering on decathlon. Cheap enough and we managed to find it in stock a week or two ago.

Fair few toilet tents on ebay. We just bought one last week, although it hasn't actually turned up yet, supposed to be today though.....

The bucket toilets are ok if you can put them somewhere they're not likely to get knocked over. It's just that you're literally carrying a bucket of crap across the campsite to empty it in the morning!! Although they do have a lid and you can still put some chemicals in them to keep it from smelling too bad, my wife got some from the range the other day.
