Watched it last night and thought it was excellent. Very powerful film and pretty damn accurate I'd say. Best film I've seen in a long long time.
That is all.
I'm looking forward to seeing it.
I'm hoping to see it, but have been surprised at how few cinemas seems to be showing it!
I wish my wife and I had easy access to babysitters.
Oh well, will just have to wait until it goes on to blu ray.
Planning to catch it too. Good to hear the positive reviews.
i've heard mixed reviews about it. Either excellent or the whole glasgow, gang been there before bit. I'll reserve judgement until i get around to seeing it.
'tis rather good, yes. My mum would need subtitles though, a la Rab C Nesbitt.
Some nice period touches reminded me of growing up in the West of Scotland, like being sent to stand outside the Heads office to get the belt, or the lassie asking the boy if he would go out with her mate, took me back a few years.
Cinematography is good as well, nicely colored, although the Jesus character should have had a beard by my reckoning..
Peter Mullan is very good.
