Isn't 'low fat' out of fashion now?

Seems to change weekly, which is best? Full fat milk, semi-skimmed, white water... So I just drink full fat cos it's nice.

So yeah, just tell your other half that if she eats low fat she will die. Truth bro.

Low fat cottage cheese…

Not only is it categorically NOT cheese, on account of being distilled from pure evil, I doubt it even qualifies as food.

Definitely grounds for divorce though

That just happens to justify why the pot of cottage cheese I noticed in the fridge this morning comes with pineapple in it.

Mine, on the other hand, is completely obsessed by Best Before dates (I know, not the same thing, but try telling her that) and packaging condition. Many are the tins that have been rejected in the shop, or thrown away later, because small dint in them.

Low fat Mayo…

Bleugh.

However, this is perhaps an opportunity to make some home made mayo, which is incredible stuff.

You don't have to eat them.

The marmalade sounds good. The other two need to be set on fire so nobody can eat them by mistake and live a life of deepest regret as a result.

The marmalade sounds good.

It is. I reckon it might even have the power to make cottage "cheese" into a meal.

I'm sure I could find something to do with the marmalade - perhaps smothering a big ham in it as a marinade, actually, I've made a good roast chicken with ginger orange and maple syrup marinade.

Depending what you are doing with the mayo, I doubt you can tell in a proper blind test (a really good tester might know it's not their usual one but is it low fat or just a different name - I'm sceptical). Perhaps different if you are using it to dip chips in but mix it with tuna or make coleslaw and you'll never notice.

Cottage cheese may be harder... a good cottage cheese is lovely, a bad one is mediocre but at least they haven't put pineapple in it!
