With this decent weather I'm finding that my kit really stinks...

I do put in a bit of effort on my commute so work up a bit of a sweat, always wear a clean top every day but by the time I get to work they're stinking.

Should I just boil wash them of use a specific detergent.. or get different tops, this happens whether it's a baggy top or tight XC type.

Even considered wearing a merion top underneath but that might just be a bit too much in this weather...

help..

OP - don't listen to the adverts, wash your kit at 60º with some napisan in with the detergent (assuming the kit will cope with that temp).

Despite what i said above, careful how you wash it. I shrank a lovely merino top after washing it at 40º 🙁

Try some Nikwax Basewash. I use it on my paramo baselayers and my riding gear.

I just wash my kit at 30 degrees using normal detergent. Doesn't seem to bother it and I do it fairly often.

As above, use Napisan + regular detergent, but 40deg is plenty hot.

I find that biological detergent sorts this out on synthetics.

I've going to give Halo a try and see how we go from there...
