For a while I was numb and this was comforting. I was so numb that I didn’t think I would ever let love into my heart again. And just to be safe, I promised myself I wouldn’t. For some reason I broke my promise to myself and now I hurt. So I lay here, I cry and cry, punishing myself for being so weak. Now I’ll spend long nights wishing I could go back to that place where I feel numb again.
I just want it to stop now.
