Jnrs 95cm.

We want to start introducing her to camping this summer.

We already have had a few afternoon pitches of the tent (queacha black out) in the garden to take away the novelty factor.

But struggling to find good sleeping options that won't be outgrown before the end of the season she seems to be at that stage where the infant options are border line(100cm) but the next size in most brands is massive @140cm

Aayaycho seem to do one that grows with them with it buttoning up to reduce volume for smaller kids but circa 75 quid....but at same time...if it lasts it'll be worth it.

What did you do ?

What's the issue with the bag being too big? It's just like a bed, the legs go as far as they go.

Use strap to limit length of an adult bag, it is more cost effective than buying correct size bags.

She's 22months , Still a reasonable chance she ends up inside the bag which is not cool.

Was hoping for a 110 cm or so solution which would at least give us a couple of seasons.

A strap round the bag solves the length issue but the widths still an issue

We used a readybed type thing for the eldest when he was around 2.5yrs old. Bit better than a bag as the cover is fixed at one side. The duvet was bloody thin though so we ended up adding a couple blankets on top.

You could get an airbed like this one and put her at the bottom so she can't slide any further down.

Well in rare eBay turning up a non silly priced option I got an Ayacucho alert not long after posting this.

So waiting on a 20 quid Ayacucho turning up.

There's no cinch cords or internal baffles (strangulation) in a jnr/infant sleeping bag either I hadn't even considered that.

There are masses of Jnr outdoor marketed bags that are not fit for use outside of the house. So many of them don't even quote temperature range it's a very hard market to navigate.

We have plenty of sleeping bags for house use and on warm nights they will be fine in the tent too but I do not want to be stuck them when invariably the temperature drops below their use.
