Good final overs for England. Hope that Jos’s discomfort doesn’t keep him off the field.

Actually I hope Buttler stays off & gets fit. Bairstow to keep & Vince/Mo to field.

They don’t look comfortable with Archer’s pace. He’s unlucky not to have had a second wicket.

I was impressed with Stoinis’ c&b - great reaction speed. Think Australia will come up 30 short

Whose bright idea was it to make the stumps heavier so you need a nuclear explosion to remove the bails? The fact that it is Warner getting away with it is even more annoying.

5 times so far in the 14 matches. More like Lead bales than Zinck (R).

Aus got out of jail against WI. Not today.

In retrospect, Warner getting reprieved by heavy bails was a disaster for Aus. He's a one day dinosaur, and I wish him a long innings in the rest of their matches.

Chewed through a lot of dot balls, as one of the commentators has it. Whilst I’m obviously wanting an England WC title, thinking an India v. NZ final.

NZ getting the job done without looking impressive so far. India have been very good for a long time - all bases covered.

WI a big game for us on Friday. I know it’s early, but if we lose I don’t see us getting through.

Does a washout today end all hope for SA?

Does a washout today end all hope for SA?

I'd say this is the strongest strategy they've presented so far. 😁

😂

Very heavy rain up at the other end of Hampshire.

I believe a 1655 start is the cutoff for a 20 over match. Looks unlikely - that’s SA out of the tournament and a 3rd point dropped by the WIndies.

Although still an echo of ****stan’s start in ‘92...

Had a frustrating day at the Ageas Bowl- small consolation to be entitled to a rocket refund. SA were poor in the short time that they were batting.

It's a lot darker, and wetter, than that at the northern edge of Hampshire!

After 15 overs and Gayle out, that’s a good toss to win.

Roy’s injury is concerning, although Vince is a very able replacement.

Dropped catch didn’t prove to be too expensive.
Still happy so far.

Yep. Had a couple of beers with him BITD at the Cowherds. Lovely man, great cricketer.

A tough listen, but proof that people can pull through.

Couldn’t follow the game yesterday, great win and I like the way we adapted to get the result.
Shame the weather washed out India v NZ, would have been an interesting game and see how NZ fared against one of the favourites.
Looking forwards to tomorrow’s game.

Robin. Was during the break, try and listen to it if you can. He’s battled depression, alcoholism, marriage break up, business failures and suicide

Great win by Bangladesh, BUT........... that was an awful bowling performance by WI.

Agreed. There doesn't looked to be a plan-b for the Windies in their bowling attack, if they aren't getting extra lift from the short stuff then they just don't look dangerous. The atmosphere looked amazing at Taunton, got there with 51 balls to spare too - they might have chased down 400!
