Ed Miliband is sitting in front of us.

How is he coping with the sandwiches?

That is quite punchy.

EDIT: The cognoscenti take their champagne in with them.

He did well with an apple, Junky. No sandwiches in his vicinity.

I had 2 bottles of prosecco in the fridge at £7 a pop. The missus was supposed to pack the picnic whilst I walked the dog. She fqorgot to pack it. 😥

Flashy - hope if wasn't you who dropped that Cook 6 in the crowd? The offender was sporting a STW hipster beard, but I didn't get a good look at his shoes!!!

Have had 2 comments published by cricinfo today - is that a record? 8) (in case anybody wants to check, both mentioned Chef, albeit one obliquely)

Forgot to mention.....he originally sat in the wrong seats. Someone then arrived and said, 'you're in my seats' seemingly without recognising Ed!

Ha, just remembered I got accused of drinking the Kool Aid when I had a comment published by cricinfo suggesting I thought England still had a chance (when they were just over 100 for 6)

Just watching it on catch up - I'm not sure I'd have been as positive as you but this England team doesn't lie down any more, does it!

Well i did say I thought SL would win, but unlike a year ago I hadn't yet given up on England (I'm sure the exact comment isn't hard to find if you want)

Not something I'd predicted, but I'm not at all surprised. He was clearly completely devastated at Lords when he realised his Test career was over.

Saw a similar comment along the lines of "Can you let the middle order get some batting practice in chaps? Please?"

A stroll.

What should have been an easy chase at the Rose Bowl hasn't started well!

If the weather is as nice down there as it is up at this end of the county, should be a lovely evening for it, though.

Steadied now, and dropped catches aren't helping SL's chances.

Morning, everybody.

Good day to bat? With no Anderson, there's plenty of pressure on Jake Ball to perform, and here he goes....

Exciting! Deteriorating wicket must make ****stan favourite; can Vince make up for his first innings when Hales didn't?
