Is it a bit rubbish or ok?

Used it for two years and it works just fine (one year on PC, one year on Mac when I transferred). No issues on the Mac.
I use iCloud now (for storage and syncing between iPhone and MacBook and Apple TV) and pay 79p a month for 50GB of storage so that does me, but guessing you know about that and have reasons for needing to use OneDrive.

Yes, use google apps for mail hosting and storage mostly. Thinking of swapping over to 365 seeing as it does pretty much the same thing and I'd get the new Office thrown in. Store reviews of the one drive os x app is less than positive though!

The newer client is meant to be a lot better than the original. I've used it a couple of times and not had any major issues.
