iMac (2011) withMS Office 2011, updated. In Outlook it seems impose to permanently change the default fault from Calibri. Have done the preferences,change default etc but it immediately switches back. Googled and played but got nowhere. Oddly don't have the same problem on the newer iMacs?
Anyone got a workaround?

Off the top of my head, you need to redefine "normal" or "body text". If you just change the font, as soon as you breathe out it reverts to "normal" again with whatever font has been assigned to it. IIRC there's a little breakout arrow in the Font box, you change it there rather than using the drop-down. Then if you click 'set as default' it applies that to the Normal template so all new docs will have your chosen font.
I think, anyway. Might be different on a Mac.
