Have you started to mow the lawn yet this year? Do you have to wait until the frost goes away?
It's a right pain in the arse. Ours hasn't been dry enough to motivate me to do it since around September... 😆
The mower would sink at the moment I think.
you'd need a flymo on ours - a standard machine could well be lost forever in the tar-pit under the grass veneer
If you cut it now will the frost damage it or anything?

Cut mine after it was scarified. Quite dry at the moment, so I cut it before the endless rain of the summer arrives.

They're mown Hyde Park. It's great riding through at the moment, if it wasn't so cold it could be spring! Love the fresh cut grass smell.
really dry but cold round our way atm. We have begun shock and awe on our garden already: strimmed off the first 10 cm and then mown it twice in a week. Actually looking pretty nice compared to last year.
Done mine today 8) was like spring in Cannock had just my t shirt on..
Bone dry here so might give it a once over at the weekend, it is a bit earlier than usual though.

Night frosts are fine. Many lawns are growing and my machines will be in use almost full time again from next week. Not on the bogs though.
Cut mine 2 weeks ago.
First cut at the weekend. As long as there is no frost it is fine (think that's what I read somewhere anyway). Just the other 30m of garden left to do this weekend.
I've got 2-3 inches of snow on mine still, lawnmower resting for at least a month or so.
the sooner i cut it the sooner i'll have to start mowing it regularly...it can wait a few weeks yet!
