I've seen people occasionally having a cheeky one and using the HS to get off at an upcoming junction when there's a jam (still illegal of course) but brazenly queueing in it in front of everybody else? Jeez, you gotta have some cheek to do that. I'd be ashamed. Fair dues to him...I'd just be sitting in my car fuming quietly and probably posting on STW, while preparing to defend my use of a cameraphone in a car 🙂

I once watched dumbfounded as a car tried to move up a stationary queue of traffic by tailgating the ambulance. Naturally he then got stuck, the fire crew couldn't get around him and everyone had to shuffle to try and let him back in, costing valuable minutes.
I'd loved to have asked him on camera what the **** he thought he was doing and how he would have felt if it was his kids in need of the emergency crews.
