i'm with orange and to use the sat nav i have to subscribe to "orange maps" £5 a month i think it is, do other networks have a subscription charge or do you just pay the data charges?

it would be orange maps but i haven't subscribed yet, i would only use it now and again. Ithink the data charges are included in that £5.

on nokia maps you only pay if you want to use the route finding facility

the rest is free, dunno if orange is the same. i downloaded all the maps to my PC and stuck them on the phone as data coverage is not great in the uk
