The MND Association do a fantastic job helping those who are affected, and fund research with the hope of eradicating the condition. You can ride to raise money for them in a number of events listed on the web site.

My grandfather died of MND, mother and grandmother used to do a lot of fund raising.
Have to say I'm tempted by the 3 cities 300 miler.
