Any mk1 Caddy owners on here come up with a tidy way of carrying bikes?

Any pics would be great.

I can wedge one in on it’s side, but more than one is a struggle.

Im thinking a Thule roof type rack in the bed to stand them in upright, or make something myself.

Will probably have to be front wheels off, but then different axle standards makes it tricky to bolt forks in.

don't over think it - a bit of bungee is fine. You're taking you bike places so you can ride it, not making a presentation case.  In my sprinter I literally lean my bike against the side of the van with the front wheel against the bulkhead and when I get to my destination it hasn't moved. In the blingo - take the wheel off - place the bikes in. they stay put all by themselves. Bungee them to the side if you really want to maximise the rest of the space, but thats all you need. Clever clamps and racks are just obstructions when you're not carrying your bike and limit your options when you are.
