I ordered some parts from YT in Germany. They were dispatched using DHL. I got a message saying they had delivered them to me. I havnt had them, and my GF was in all day.
When i check the tracking link it says it was devivered and signed for by EVANS. I dont know an Evans where i live and its a pretty common surname in Wales.
How do i proceed? I have sent DHL a message but no reply yet. I paid via paypal if that makes a difference?
Thanks
Ian

Contact the seller. They should then contact DHL. Standard terms are that it might have to wait for two weeks before you'd be offered a refund (in case the parcel shows up).
Paypal should let you get a refund regardless.

As above, it’s YTs issue to sort so get onto them

I've to wait until 28th Feb before I can get a refund or anything else for that matter off Bikeinn. Ordered a tyre on 14th Jan, dispatched on 16th Jan (apparently) and nothing since. Looks like it didn't even make it to Royal Fail. They want 3 working weeks for it to either turn up or them to investigate with the courier their end

I've used them before and not had any issues, they're usually decent prices and delivery times was about the same as CRC, Wiggle etc.. Won't put me off using them again as I always make sure its not something I need straight away. If it is then its off to the LBS.

Result. Surely DHL should have left you a note saying "Left with neighbour (Evans, No. 55)"?

Same issue happened to me too although that was UPS.

It's also usual practice for the courier to leave a card outlining which neighbour they left it with ..
Edit: oops should have read the previous post before replying ..
