Go on font of all online knowledge, my Google fu is failing me..
Anybody have any ideas where I can hire a minibus for a weekend that will take 10 people but weigh under 3.5t so it can be driven without D1 entitlement? Ideally Birmingham ish.

10 is an awkward number. I've used the arnold clark hire place in Stafford if thats not too far away they do 8 and 9 seaters (T5s and vitos) and 16 seater transits. D1 Entitlement is to do with numbers of seats and length, not weight though. C1 is vehicles over 3.5 ton
If you've only got category B then the limit is 8 passengers

Its usually cheaper hiring two cars than one minibus
