will a hard tail minus wheels fit in the boot without seat folding?

Possibly if you've got the bars poking into the seating area. I have the LWB '02 A class & I don't think there's the depth or width even with the seats in the forward position to keep it in the boot.. You can fit one in the rear passenger footwell though that is a cause of complaint for passengers. I tend to either put one of the rear seats down & forward & put bikes in with the bars at the rear or just use a roofrack.
