Subscription to McAfee runs out shortly after the new year - I have turned off the auto re-new as for having this prog running for 2 yrs and slowly being driven bonkers by it...
Who uses what for internet protection? I really want to bin McAfee but also want a less intrusive package to replace it with but it must offer a good level of protection.
Advice sought please.. Thanks
Comodo... It's free, and it seems to be one of, if not the best anti virus out there...
Also use Malwarebytes for a clean out every so often.
Avast is the best one that I have used. They have a free version for personal use. It does the job and doesn't bog down the system. Virus definition and program updates are frequent and seamlessly installed.
