Going to a friends 30th birthday masquerade ball in April - need to design and make a mask (prizes at stake!). Anybody got any original ideas that aren't jey?

My sis had a masked party for her 30th. I took a roll of masking tape and created it on the fly.

you could always trawl the woods for a suitably shaped piece of bark; cut out eye, nose & mouth holes, paint it green & go round saying "smmmmmokin'!" and things like that

I've certainly the hair for that one!
Was thinking of getting a blank mask and decorating with polished chain links - sure I've got an old 8 speed somewhere..........
