wasnt really "his" expedition, he was just there making a documentary.

It isn't just him then - he is the cameraman for the experienced crew from what the website says.
I think I will prefer rewatching his solo cycling challenges - I especially liked his first one (the round the world record breaking ride).
Amazing trip - the bit that struck me was the 'we could not do this 10 years ago, the passage would be frozen solid then'....

He is also rowing the Atlantic, just after Chrimbo. I like him, he is a genuine guy and has a great attitude. Very unlike a lot of the other upper middle class, self serving 'adventurers' out there.
