Bike shorts have been trending for the past few years—among fashion types and Kardashians as well as hot yogis and SoulCyclers—with good reason.

What's a SoulCycler?

Those are "bike style shorts" not actual bike shorts. You would regret cycling in that kit! Sports wear for people who don't do sports, as sold in your local JD Sports.

What’s a SoulCycler?

Imagine this lady on an exercise bike in a large room full of similar people.

I'd like to reassure you all that I have continued to wear pants every day throughout this crisis.

Just in case I get rushed to hospital. Your mother's advice still applies.

Some people call trousers "pants", wherein lies confusion.

Light grey, skin tight shorts are wrong for so many reasons.

Put jeans on for the morning school run on Friday, first time my lower legs have been covered since March 20th, felt weird, back in shorts and my trusty WFH Birkenstocks now, much better.

The image search I did suggests it's a bong. That's why they're wearing cycling pants. They're high as ****.

Sports wear for people who don’t do sports, as sold in your local JD Sports.

Well, Prana gear has always been aimed at the climbing fraternity, whether you consider that to be a sport or not is another matter. Way back when I started mountain biking I wore either padded lycra shorts, or full leggings in colder weather with a padded liner, and later when baggies started to appear I’d wear a padded liner underneath those.
And what is ‘sports wear’ anyway? Tennis players wear shorts and a polo shirt, which is also what polo players wear, and what JD Sports sell is perfectly adequate for the sort of kickaround many people take part in.
Oh, and I pretty much wear shorts from March through to mid-October, possibly to the end of the month, mostly cargo skate shorts, but also my bike shorts from RaceFace, Kona and Endura, it’s a sad day when I have to capitulate to the weather conditions. 🙁

I wear Hummvees from April right through to October.

Comfortable, loads of pockets for "stuff" and I havent got the figure for Lycra that's for sure.😆

I like going for a swim in rivers/the sea given the off chance to and they dry fast so I can just jump back on the bike or in the car after a while.

Best. Shorts. Ever.
