Can anyone recommend where to go for a decent Sunday roast in the centre of manchester?
I know my way around but am not familiar with where is good or rubbish.
Nothing too adventurous/exciting please, parents will be coming along & I expect to have a hangover!
The Ox on Liverpool Road is nice..
Yup the Ox is v good. Or The Chop House on Cross Street, but that's a bit more expensive.
is the big Witherspoons on Piccadilly still there. full of chavs mind but cheap and cheerfull. and a decent pint to help the hangover
I do like the Chop House - huge portions, good ingredients, and decent ale. Plus that fantastic Victorian interior.
Trof in the Northern quarter is good too, they have a Sunday lunch menu, nice beers too.
