Well, even in Liverpool shooting people isn't the norm, but I understand that in the world of drug-dealing criminality riding a mountain bike is pretty common. The last Liverpool shooting that I remember hitting the headlines was the young lad Rhys Jones. The police tracked down the killer in part through the Specialized Hard Rock he was riding at the time. "Gunman on bike" would have been a better wording but that might imply more than is known.

Hmmm now let me go and commit this murder. I wonder, should I drive there? Heavens no, I have no driving license, that could be illegal and dangerous! Besides I don't own a car and have no means of stealing one.
