Just found a couple of big Maglites at the back of a cupboard
Anyone upgraded to LED bulbs for these? Where from?

I have (both small AA models and 3-6 D cell models), various options available from specialist sellers via eBay, makes a massive difference to runtime and brightness, however they will still be poor compared to even some of the cheaper LED torches available on eBay.
If you really love your maglite and just want to upgrade them go for it, if you want something that actually performs then look around at other options and flog the maglites

Big maglites are not for illuminating things.
