Got the lid stuck on the Magimix food processor. It looks like its been turned a bit too far to lock it on. Looks like the only way to get it off is brute force, but I don't want to end up breaking it (and getting it in the neck from the missus)
any tips?
Warm the lid up with an hairdryer
Hairdryer might work? How about hot water with plenty of suds? Just thought Hairdryer might end up damaging the plastic or turning it opaque?
Same happened to me so I just forced it round further until it popped out the other side. I snapped the small plastic lug in the process that is meant to stop it from going too far, but it's still completely usable - it just means you need to put the lid on with a *tiny* bit more thought...

Sorted now -I think the problem was the lid got put on while the pot wasn't on the base. Reconnected the pot on the base, gave it a neck-breaking tug and its off. Not in trouble with the missus after all 🙂
