I always seem to get good Apple help here so,
I have 20GB or so of mixed files. These are located on my laptop and duplicated on a flash drive. Most days I leave my laptop at home and just take the flash drive to work. I'm looking for an app where I can easily sync files and folders i have modified at work on the flash drive with my laptop when I get home. Likewise if I change anything on the laptop it needs to sync in the other direction.
I use dropbox etc. but can't access at work so no use here.
There are a few potentials on the app store, does anyone have any recommendations? No problem paying for a good app.
I use Chronosync to keep files on hard disks synchronised with files on my laptop, as part of the backup of my photo library. It may be overkill for your purpose (and mine, for that matter) but it seems pretty comprehensive with a bunch of features like verifying the copy.
macupdate is an unofficial "app store" for Macs. It's been running for years and you'll often find stuff on there that you don't get via the apple app store. Take a look - all sorts on there.
