I got my first mountain bike in 93 and still wake up on a sunny morning like today and get butterflies about going out to ride. Ive never been able to express this fully to non bikers the genuine love and excitement I get for riding. Are we all mad or part of a type of person who just gets it.

I have to enter races. It's the only thing that will motivate me to ride (staying fit enough to race).
A mountain bike is just exercise equipment for me.

Pretty much.
days like today are just designed for riding in massive circles in the woods.
