We are looking for nice pub or pizza place to eat for family of four with young girls. Nice ales would be a bonus.

The Church inn. Excellent ale and great selection of homemade pies. My pub of choice when I used to bike over
Pub wise, the Blue Boar or Rose and Crown, good beer in both. The Church Inn used to be a great traditional pub, but it had a glitzy "makeover" a couple of years ago and is now a sterile, characterless gastropub. A real shame coz it used to be ace.
Just out of town, the Clive on the A49 is nice to eat in and the Ludlow Kitchen next door is great for breakfasts and lunches.
Came here to say Blue Boar, had a cracking Sunday roast in there last year
