I've just switched riding from a Scott Scale to a Trek Fuel and I'm getting lower back pain during the ride, is this mainly due to the new geometry position? Should I reduce the spacers to make the Fuel more like the Scale to give me a more xc position? Or is it a case of leave each set-up as they are and just mtfu and wait to develop the appropriate back muscles.
maybe the change in position has highlighted tight hamstrings. Stretching might help (or the bike could be too long/front end too low)
Thanks for the advice Onzadog, don't normal stretch before the weekend ride as I commute everyday so will give it a go! I did take 1 spacer out already, so maybe I've lowered the front end to much will put it back. I'll also check what the difference is in bike lenghts.
