I can't seem to remove the menu bar from the bottom of the screen when streaming from the pS3! I have tried googling, and hitting and waggling all the buttons on the controller.
It's the thing that says "X Pause/Play > < Rewind/Fast Forward O Back" etc
any ideas?

Sorry, can't help. Lovefilm was frickin awful on my PS3 as well. Had to restart c.10 times to watch one film. Kept freezing. Drove me nuts. Bye bye Lovefilm.
