I recorded the first episode of the new series of Lost last night. As a Virgin customer this is my first chance to see it since virgin and sky had their falling out halfway through series 2 (or 3?), when jack had been captured and made to do surgery on the head bad guy (Ben?) and Kate and Sawyer were in 'jail'.
So, before I sit down to watch the new episode: Is there anything I desperately need to know that happened in between then and now so that my confusion levels aren't stratospheric??

I can't remember now, lots of stuff. Have a look at the lost webite (just google lost) I think I remember there being catchup episodes you can download, but I might have dreamt it. Also they have a brief synopsis of each episode so you can get all the key events and chronolgy.

What Lost does very well though is bring you up to speed on all the pertinent histories at the beginning of each episode and especially at the beginning of each series, so just dive in an watch them

Season 4 box set has everything you need to know about lost in 8m 15 seconds (do you see what they did there?) someones probably uploaded it to piratebay or some such.

Finished Season 4 last night and it's getting a bit silly now.

Well, having watched all of the episodes prior to watching the first one of the current series I am even more confused. Lord knows how the writers are going to round the show off at the end of the next series.

I don't think the writers have the foggiest idea either. Scream of anguish from my housemate last night: "Oh God, now they've introduced time travel..."

headfirst...I think I've got them as compressed avi's on the pc if you fancy trawling through them...series 3 should go on a dvd.

Is that Scottish guy still in it?
He went to my school. I'm sure he kissed my sister once.

Was addicted to series one but I think the writers have lost the plot big style since. It will all be one big dream (Even Bobby from dallas might be in there as well)when they eventually decide to end the program!
