So it's about time I got a logo made for my business.

I don't want an off the shelf one, so I'm looking for a designer.

Does anyone know anyone or have any recommendations.

Currently I'm offering external CAD services, to both businesses and members of the public, surveying, and the supply of civil engineers and surveyors.

Just need to get a logo drawn up.

Damn wrong forum

I really like the AllianceMTB logo which was designed by rosieedwards.com

Yes I am biased, it's my wife. But if you fancy trying an up and coming independent, drop her a line. (she also mountain bikes).

No remotely helpful suggestion from me I'm afraid, just this old classic

If you're doing CAD work, then surely it's not too hard to draw up your own?

You need to speak to Binners. He lives for this sort of project.

Maybe the OP has the CAD but would like a bit of atristic originality that a designer is supposed to have, I'm not talking about the sort of designer that brings out the same old, same old (videos and graphic designer jokes and thinks that they're funny).
Just a thought.

Did someone say logo design?

Thats what passes for my day job. I'd be happy to have a look at it for you. I'm still sat in front of a Mac at 11 at night because I'm doing precisely that at the moment. And very nice its looking too, even if I do say so myself.

Everyone off here gets mates rates, and I've done quite a few. The email is in the profile if you'd like to send me a few more details of exactly what it is you're after

'Logo Tournament' is a good site for such things, as long as you take the time to write your brief correctly.

Alternatively just get a picture of a buxom blonde and write 'JIM'S CAD SERVICES' across her knockers. I would remember that. Only works if your name is Jim of course.

I love the Unilever logo.

Owen is a great guy, a MTB rider too. He designed our shirts and we were all very happy with his work.

He offers free tea and biscuits too, plus the chance to ride some rather special South Wales trails too if you visit in person.

Zinaru...could be an isolated case but your website turns my Chromebook into a gibbering wreck whilst it loads.

I closed everything the first attempt and then tried again with just one tab, it grinds to a halt with jittering scrolling and lots of processing/waiting in the status bar, after about 50 seconds it finished crunching and let me view the site.
